A recessed spotlight that is plastered into the ceiling, the Cefeo 4177 by 9010 Novantadieci takes a retrofit 240V GU10 lamp. Handmade in Italy, Cefeo has a minimal design and offers a soft, subtle ambient light from the round glass diffuser. Made from an advanced compound technology developed by 9010 called CRISTALY® - see below.
The retrofit GU10 Ø50mm lamp holder is suitable for a LED or halogen lamp (not included) and easy lamp maintenance. The Cefoe is plastered into the ceiling and can be painted with any water-based paint, allowing the fitting to blend seamlessly with the architecture.
Optional housing box for brickwork installation available.
CRISTALY® - A compound that enhances light
Handmade in Italy from CRISTALY®, a new compound invented by 9010 Novantadieci that combines mineral elements and stabilizers to create a sensation of pureness and a matt surface finish. Compatible with plasterboard installations, the compound is:
- Non-toxic, chemically inert and hypoallergenic
- Air purification - transforms harmful bacterial substances in the air into harmless substances with a process similar to chlorophyll photosynthesis (the process works both in light and in dark)
- UV resistant
- Low thermal conductivity
- Non-deforming
- Non-flammable
- Dust repellent
- Perfect pure white surface
- Suitable for decoration with any water-based paint
This creates a material that combines strength, lightness and durability whilst being eco-friendly, non-toxic, recycled and solvent free.
