Our flagship downlight, the Eiger 1-S True Colour adjustable downlight is a great all-rounder. By combining amazing colour rendering accuracy with an IP54 rating (suitable for bathroom zones 2 & 3) this version of the Eiger sports a traditional white square frame with bezel. Eiger uses the latest CRI98 LED chip which makes colours appear richer than ever, and the 24º adjustable tilt makes this a downlight that is versatile enough to highlight a piece of art on a wall or provide more general lighting.
The Eiger light engine component emits around 800 lumens, more than ample for most domestic lighting design projects. Maintenance is easy post installation - the LED light engine can be removed separately from the frame through a simple twist mechanism. 15º or a medium 36º beam angles are available. The luminaire is in die-cast aluminium with steel housing, and the heat sink in forged aluminium for maximum heat dissipation. Reflector in plastic PC. In white or black. Our downlights are fire rated as standard, and have lasted over 60 minutes in independent tests by Cambridge Fire Research. Compatible with leading edge and trailing edge dimmers. Dimmable with either 0-10V, TRIAC or DALI dimming drivers - see dropdown for options. Eiger is available in multiple versions, and with or without trim.

Wireless dimming from your smartphone
This luminaire can also be used with the Casambi dimming units to give flexible control of all the lights in your home. Create the perfect mood for all situations wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0 and save them as pre-set scenes on the Casambi app from your smartphone. Or control the scene at the touch of a button, either with Casambi wireless wall switches or with an off-the-shelf push dimmable on/off switch. Emergency lighting compatible
Emergency pack available as an extra. By utilising the optional emergency pack this luminaire can be used as a back-up emergency light fitting that complies with standard building safety regulations. In the event of a power outage this high performance fitting becomes a low lux emergency light, operating at around 10% of it’s original performance with a battery life of 3 hours.
