The Suprematic Three Pendant by NOOM combines minimalist shapes to create a sophisticated style. The bold colours and geometric form of the abstract suspension light is heavily influenced by the Suprematism art movement from the early 20th century. The elongated elements and colourful design make this pendant a stunning focal point in any Art Deco inspired lounge or bedroom.
The two colour palettes available can change the style of the pendant. As brass is becoming a common material in lighting fixtures, this variation can add a contemporary aspect to the fixture. Whereas the copper adds an accentual vibrance to the design, effective in a modern setting with a blend of more minimalist components.
To create your own unique composition, consider pairing this pendant with others from the Suprematic range to form a cascading cluster in a hallway, or a levelled canopy over a dining table.

NOOM is a creative design studio founded in Ukraine in 2017. The company often draw inspiration from the modernist art movement Suprematism to shape the abstract design aesthetic and bold colour schemes of their lighting solutions. The Suprematism style focuses on simple geometric shapes to create art forms that remove all reference to the outside world, and can be interpreted regardless of cultural or ethnic origins. Expressing the brand motto ‘where design meets art’, NOOM aspire to build long-lasting products with both practical uses and striking forms.
The brand’s founders collaborated in order to explore materials and design to a greater depth and produce both unique and innovative creations. NOOM’s lighting collection is especially inspired by the work of artist Kazimir Malevich, the founder of the Suprematism art movement, whose minimalistic geometric style and colour scheme we see frequently reflected in the NOOM range. Co-founder and creative director, Kateryna, argues that ‘simplicity, functionality, and passion’ are the fundamental elements to great design.
