In 1970, 17 year old Stevan Bijelic arrived in Paris from his homeland with a passion for design and high quality manufacturing. After 15 years working in the industry, Stevan founded his own studio, establishing the Fosfens brand at their Paris HQ, “La Maison”, along with his wife and five children.
Fosfens's luminaires are designed to last for multiple generations, with every aspect developed and tested to withstand long term use. Each Piece is designed with technical complexity and high-end aesthetics in both finish and quality of light. Fosfens uses first-class materials with a skillful combination of hand and machine manufacturing.
