DLD Andes 1-R True Colour CRI98 LED IP65 Fixed Recessed Downlight - Next Day Delivery

Description

With a deep black baffle for glare reduction, the DLD Andes 1-R fixed recessed downlight displays colours with fine precision thanks to our True Colour CRI98 LED chip. The Andes range is the ideal downlight for bathroom zone 1 (it's also suitable for standard rooms) due to its IP65 rating. The fixed variation is the perfect choice if you only want to light the area or surface directly below.

Beam angles of 15º or 36º offer a narrower or wider spread of light depending on what effect is needed. Once the frame is installed into the ceiling it's easy to pop the LED light engine in and out, allowing for simple maintenance after installation. Die-cast aluminium luminaire with steel housing. Heat sink in forged aluminium for optimum heat dissipation. Reflector in plastic PC. Bezel ring in white or black finish with an inner black baffle. Our downlights are fire rated as standard, and have lasted over 60 minutes in independent tests by Cambridge Fire Research. The Andes range is fully dimmable, supporting 0-10V, TRIAC or DALI drivers.

Wireless dimming from your smartphone

This luminaire can also be used with the Casambi dimming units to give flexible control of all the lights in your home. Create the perfect mood for all situations wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0 and save them as pre-set scenes on the Casambi app from your smartphone. Or control the scene at the touch of a button, either with Casambi wireless wall switches or with an off-the-shelf push dimmable on/off switch.  See the 'You May Also Need...' section below for the available options and technical information.

Emergency lighting compatible

Emergency pack available as an extra. By utilising the optional emergency pack this luminaire can be used as a back-up emergency light fitting that complies with standard building safety regulations. In the event of a power outage this high performance fitting becomes a low lux emergency light, operating at around 10% of it’s original performance with a battery life of 3 hours.
