Description

LED Profilelement SNL profile with visible wing for direct connection to the drywall, either with or without substructure. Suitable for wall, ceiling and floor/skirting installation, SNL integrates invisibly with the surrounding architecture, and is the perfect choice for cove lighting and for creating dramatic indirect lighting effects. Two SNL profiles can be installed opposite each other to create further design options. The visible wing (gap to the wall) is available in multiple widths. Suitable for use with LED tape up to 13mm in width. Shadow casting can be avoided by altering the plane that the LED strip is fixed to. Made of zinc, which acts as a heat sink for the LED strip, the SNL profile is supplied with the primer already applied. Fire rated, see downloads tab for further info. Diffuser available for a softened, refracted lighting effect.

Use in conjunction with Circum21 / SNL Flex for a combination of straight and curved shapes.

- Our Top Tips -

• What makes this profile better than others on the market? This profile is made from zinc alloy which is very hard to deform - even under a high heat output. Therefore changes in temperature will not cause cracking in the plaster (provided the recommended fleece lining has been used too) unlike aluminium profile which often bends.
• With a shallow depth of 12.5mm, this installs flush into plasterboard and no other structure is required for installation - saving time and money.
• We recommend fleece-lining for joining multiple profile channels together.
• Why do you need a diffuser? The diffuser is final piece of the jigsaw, with it you will create a nice soft halo of light. Without it you will create a hard wonky line – not a great look
