The square version of our flagship plaster-in downlight, the Eiger 1-S LED is recessed into the ceiling and plastered in to create a truly seamless finish. The Eiger produces roughly 800 lumens, which paired with an IP54 rating and a 24º adjustable tilt makes it the perfect trimless downlight for residential projects and in bathroom zone 2. Taking full advantage of the up-to-date True Colour CRI98 LED COB technology, all of our Eiger range render colours with outstanding accuracy. Once installed the light engine is easily removable through a simple twist mechanism, which allows for easy maintenance post installation. Available with a beam angle of 15º or 36º. Die-cast aluminium luminaire with steel housing. Heat sink in forged aluminium for optimum heat dissipation. Reflector in plastic PC. In white or black.
Our downlights are fire rated as standard, and have lasted over 60 minutes in independent tests by Cambridge Fire Research. Emergency pack available as an extra. By utilising the optional emergency pack this luminaire can be used as a back-up emergency light fitting that complies with standard building safety regulations. Compatible with leading edge and trailing edge dimmers. Dimmable with either 0-10V, TRIAC or DALI dimming drivers - see dropdown for options. Eiger is available in multiple versions, and with or without trim.

Wireless dimming from your smartphone
This luminaire can also be used with the Casambi dimming units to give flexible control of all the lights in your home. Create the perfect mood for all situations wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0 and save them as pre-set scenes on the Casambi app from your smartphone. Or control the scene at the touch of a button, either with Casambi wireless wall switches or with an off-the-shelf push dimmable on/off switch. Emergency lighting compatible
Emergency pack available as an extra. By utilising the optional emergency pack this luminaire can be used as a back-up emergency light fitting that complies with standard building safety regulations. In the event of a power outage this high performance fitting becomes a low lux emergency light, operating at around 10% of it’s original performance with a battery life of 3 hours.
