Contemporary Danish design at its most elegant, the Anour I Model 1000 LED Profile Pendant has distilled the suspension light to its simplest and most minimal form. A thin 1 metre line of copper, brass or steel profile emits a warm LED light that perfectly suits a modern interior scheme - whether its hung over a sofa in a living room or suspended over a dining table. The natural patina of the rusted steel, browned brass and browned copper finishes contrast with the design of this architectural suspension light, introducing an organic depth to a very modern and contemporary pendant.
Each piece is handmade in Denmark by skilled artisans, and coupled with the energy efficient integral LED light source, reflects the commitment to sustainability whilst maintaining standards of quality and craftsmanship. The I Model Cordless version creates a feeling of floating in the air by using low voltage electricity through the suspension cables, removing the need for a separate power cable. Supplied with an integrated touch dimmer - alternative dimming options are also available.

Meaning light in Farsi, Anour has also come to signify the meshing of high-end design with hi-tech functionality. After attending the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, in 2007 Founder and Architect Arash Nourinejad began partnering with local artisans to create ecologically sustainable, hand-crafted light installation pieces that boast integrated touch dimmers and ingenious cordless power.
Finished in warming wood and metallics, including brass and copper, every Anour lamp is individually surface treated using organic colouring techniques. Natural processes such as oxidising and rusting result in a fully customisable, textured finish. This stunning lighting collection includes a cordless light for the living room, a beautiful weathered green copper pendant and an adjustable brass desk lamp ideal for the study. Anour brings Danish design tradition in to the present whilst forging ahead with a simple, contemporary design aesthetic.
